Rose P (Crognale) Costanza

Rose P. Costanza, 86, of Sarver, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 1, 1939, in New Kensington to the late Domenico and Bambina (DiTommaso) Crognale.

Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph M. Costanza Jr., in 2010; her son-in-law, Anthony Pignatelli; and two sisters, Isabelle D'Angelo and Mary Feola.

She is survived by her children: Joseph Costanza of New Jersey, Anthony (Lisa) Costanza of Moon Township, Lisa Pignatelli of South Carolina, and Rosie (Ron) Kobelenske of Sarver. Rose is also survived by her brother, Dominick (Cindy) Crognale of North Carolina; seven cherished grandchildren, Alexa (Mike) Grabo, Anthony Pignatelli, Shelby (Jesse) Williams, Angelo Costanza, Rafalene (Jared) Caton, Alex and Mia Kobelenske; and two adored great-granddaughters, Harper and Eloise.

Rose was a devoted member of Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington and the Addolorata Society of the church. She enjoyed baking, watching sports, and taking trips to the casino. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

Friends will be received on Sunday, November 2 from 2 to 5 PM at the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. Prayers of transfer will take place Monday. November 3 at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Arnold.
