Rose Mary Giulioli, 92, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Arnold, passed away peacefully at her home on January 22, 2026.
She was born on July 5, 1933, in Bairdford, Pa, to the late Charles and Blanche (King) Johnson. In addition to her parents, Rose Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfred B. Giulioli, who passed away in 2001; an infant son, Timothy Alfred Giulioli, in 1967; three brothers, Audry, George E. and Ralph Johnson; and three sisters, Thelma Hawks, Betty Chick, and Rebecca Hutchman.
Rose Mary is survived by her beloved children: Monica (Dr. Fred) Giulioli-Rubin, of Pittsburgh; Alfred Scott Giulioli, of Florida; and Lisa (Brian) Giulioli Herbertson, of Allison Park. She was the proud grandmother of Alexa Rose (Tyler) Boland and Madison Rae (Ryan Mundy) Herbertson, and great-grandmother of Maxwell Tyler Boland and Bria Rose Boland. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to marriage, Rose Mary worked as an executive secretary for Pittsburgh Steel and the Pennsylvania Railroad. She was a devoted and active member of Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington, where she served as cafeteria captain for Mount St. Peter School, chaired the church’s spaghetti dinners, and was a former member of St. Anthony’s Guild and was the recipient of the Guild honor of the church,
Rose Mary enjoyed playing cards, board games, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rose Mary’s name to Bridges Hospice, 4130 Monroeville Blvd., Monroeville, PA 15146, or to the St. Anthony’s Guild of Mount St. Peter Church.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, PA 15068, Johnpaul Bertucci, Owner/Supervisor. Prayers of Transfer will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA 15068. Burial will be private.
