Rosemarie (Yanne) Pate, aged 89, of Hilliard, OH, formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, in Dublin OH. Born on September 26, 1935, in Martins Ferry, OH, Rosemarie was the beloved daughter of the late John and Domenica (Ianni) Yanne. She graduated from Arnold High School and carried forward a legacy of love, family, and faith throughout her life. She also lived in Rock Lake North in Zelienople for 22 years.
Rosemarie was a devoted member of Mt. St. Peter’s Church, New Kensington and later St. Gregory Church, Zelienople. She found joy in reading, traveling, cooking, baking, and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.
Rosemarie is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Albert Pate, and their children, Lisa (George) Collinger of South Carolina, Laurie (Philip) Licata of Ohio, and Gary (Lynne) Pate of State College. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Carmella Vigilante of New Kensington, as well as 10 grandchildren: Megan (John) Unger, Lauren (Hunter) Schouweiler, Nicole (Nicholas) Joseph, Ryan (Cassie) Pate, Emily (Dan) Haney, Molly Pate, Alex Collinger, Courtney (Matt) McCaw, Katelyn (Luke) Collinger-Larson, and Kerbie (Jason) Fryer, 14 great grandchildren, and also many adoring nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, Owner/Supervisor. A Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. St. Peter RC Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Attendees are asked to meet directly at the church. Rosemarie will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Rosemarie Pate’s name to OhioHealth Hospice with Compassus, Columbus, OH office. Rosemarie will forever be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
