Russell Edgar Waltz

Russell Edgar Waltz, 52, of  New Kensington, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024.  He was born September 2, 1972, in Natrona Heights, to the late Lloyd and Ella Mae (McDonald) Waltz and was also preceded by a brother-in-law Ray Peterman and his mother and father-in-law, Anthony and Patricia LaRussa.  Russell was a proud Air Force Veteran, a good mentor, a friend to many, enjoyed working outdoors, and enjoyed taking care of everyone.  He was a true protector of those he loved, especially his family.  He is survived by his loving wife, Mariann (LaRussa) Waltz of 31 years, a son Devin Waltz, a daughter Alexis Waltz, three brothers, Robert (Cathy) Waltz, Ronald (Heather) Waltz, Richard (Dawn) Waltz, three sisters, Irene Livingston, Anna Peterman, and Nancy (Gerland) Smith, and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor.  Prayers of Transfer will take place Friday, October 18, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
