DECEASED FAMILY MEMBERS:  Besides his Parents, a Daughter, Virginia Bossio, 7 Brothers James, John, Joseph, Anthony, Michael, Charles and Robert Lamendola, 2 Sisters, Tillie Gallucci and Marie Doutt.

      Sam passed away peacefully.  He was a graduate of Arnold High School, Class of 1947 and Indiana State Teachers College.  He taught High School music for many many years in both Long Island, NY and Deer Lakes High School retiring in 1984.  Sam was a very devoted and faithful catholic and showed love and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  He was a wonderful father and grandfather.  He delighted in playing the trombone and played in numerous jazz bands throughout the local region.  He also enjoyed playing bocce, gardening, playing cards and smoking cigars.  He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

SURVIVORS: His Wife Lorraine “Libby” Lamendola, of 65 years, Lower Burrell, 2 sons, Fr. Salvatore Lamendola, New Derry, and Mark (Barbara) Lamendola, Cranberry, 2 Daughters, Mary DePalm, Acme and Gina (Bob) Coulson, Lower Burrell, 10 Grandchildren, Lauren, Christa, Matthew, Theresa, Jonathan, Alicia, Anita, Paul, Jacob and Anthony, 6 Great Grandchildren, Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Everyone please meet for a Funeral Mass, Monday 11 A.M. at St. Margaret Mary R.C. Church, Lower Burrell.

Burial will be Private.
