Sara F (Shoop) Belli

Sara F. Belli, 93, of Arnold, passed peacefully on October 2, 2025, in Harmarville. She was born May 12, 1932, in Springdale, to the late Paul and Sara (Kunkle) Shoop.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Belli, in 2011, and by her brothers John, Paul, Ralph, Darwin, and Alvin Shoop.

Sara is survived by her two daughters, Irene (James) Matthey of Hawley, PA, and Nancy (Frank) Lemon of New Kensington; five grandchildren, Sara (Christopher) Leonardi, Lindsey (Michael) Heffernan, Nicole (Mark) Roney, Frank (Becca) Lemon IV, and John Lemon; and six great-grandsons, Christopher Leonardi, Mason Heffernan, Jacob Heffernan, Frank Lemon V, Benjamin Lemon, and Aiden Roney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A proud 1950 graduate of Springdale High School, Sara most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Sunday, October 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Giunta–Bertucci Funeral Home, Inc., 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, Supervisor/Owner. Prayers of transfer will take place Monday, October 6 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Entombment will follow in Union Cemetery, Arnold.
