Sarah I Palumbo

Sarah I Palumbo, 40, of Arnold passed peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh with her brother by her side. She was born August 15, 1984, in New Kensington to the late Harry A. and Sandra D. (Leeger) Palumbo.

Sarah was most proud of her family, especially her daughters who were the light of her life that gave her the strength to continue her fight.

She is survived by two daughters, Saraiah and Na’Riah, a brother Louis (Jennifer) Palumbo, Sarver, nieces Carmen and Kensington Palumbo, aunts Sheryl Thimons and Debra Hammond, and her good friend, Tiffany Godson.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Francis M. and Marrianne (Schantz) Leeger and paternal grandparents, Louis C. and Beverly (Wess) Palumbo, uncles David Palumbo, Michael Palumbo, and aunt Annette M. (Aaron) Petrilla.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Giunta-Bertucci Funeral Home, 1509 Fifth Avenue, Arnold, John-Paul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. Services and burial were private.
