Shirley Ann Abraham, 89, of New Kensington, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh. She was born March 31, 1929, in New Kensington, daughter of the late William F. and Dorothy A. (Waddington) Warriner Jr. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Bry" Abraham, in 1999; a daughter, Marlene Marletti; a grandson, Thomas W. McDonnell; a brother, George D. Behanna; and a sister, Dolores M. Hurlbut. She was a member of St. George Orthodox Christian Church, New Kensington, where she volunteered for many years, and she also belonged to the Myrrh Bearing women of the church. She enjoyed vacationing and visiting with family, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Darlene McDonnell, New Kensington; three grandchildren, David B. McDonnell, Matthew Marletti and Wendy Ann Marletti; four great-grandchildren, Emily McDonnell, Karly McDonnell, Keegan Fleischman and Oona Fleischman; and a sister, Wilma J. Klingensmith, of Harrisburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave. Arnold, PA 15068, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Very Rev. Meletios Zafaran presiding. Burial will be in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum.
