Thomas "Sonny" Ciancutti, 91, of New Kensington, passed away Thursday, Jul7 8, 2021, in Lower Burrell. Born Aug. 3, 1929, in New Kensington, he was the son of the late Henry and Eleanor (Gallian) Ciancutti. He was the husband of Sylvia (Giordano) Thorpe Ciancutti, of New Kensington. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Ciancutti, in 1991; and two brothers, Ronald Ciancutti in 1995 and Louis Ciancutti, in 1979. Sonny was self-employed, operating S & S Vending in Arnold for many years. He was a lifetime member of Alcoma Country Club, graduated from Ken-Hi and was a member of the 1946 championship football team. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Giordano) Thorpe Ciancutti, New Kensington; a daughter, Carol Ciancutti, and her three children, of New York.
