Thomas Steven Lynch, 71, of Arnold, passed peacefully Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, in his home. He was born Jan. 16, 1952, in New Kensington, to Louise (Seguiti) Lynch of New Kensington and the late Thomas R. Lynch, who passed away in 1995. After Tom, A.K.A. Wizard, graduated from Arnold High School in 1970, he began his career as a steel worker at Allegheny Ludlum. In 1985, Tom became a proud father to his only son, Stephen. He continued working at the Bagdad plant for 42 years until he retired. Tom lived his life outdoors. He enjoyed hiking with his dog(s), shooting archery and crossbow. He was an avid hunter and gun collector but still his favorite hobby was taking out his kayak and fishing pole. Tom would catch more than fish; he also captured beautiful photos of his adventures. Tom especially loved being around family and was a proud Pappy. Tom is survived by his loving mother, Louise; son, Stephen (Kim) Lynch, of Leechburg; three grandchildren, Ayden, Mylie and Kennedy; and three brothers, Mark (Michele), of California, Daniel (Lisa), of Lower Burrell, and Patrick (Lisa Marie) Lynch, of Nevada. He was a beloved son, father, pappy, uncle and great-uncle and will forever be in our hearts. "A Loving man, tender and kind, what a beautiful memory you left behind." Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, John Paul Bertucci, owner/supervisor, where a funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania at 614 Dorseyville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
