Anna's Smile - A Blessing
Even a stranger in the store felt Anna's love. She would say "Hello!" so sweetly and innocently. Then: "I think I know you, I see you before. You have a nice face, like a baby doll. I love you. How is your family? God bless you and your family.
You come to my house for coffee- I'm home, I go no place. C'mon. I see you later. (a kiss on the cheek-now other side!} I love you. God bless you!"
Kindness was like her religion. It was an instant love fest wherever she went
People instantly loved her and she them.
Knowing that she is at peace in the loving arms of Christ and her beloved family in heaven gives us all peace.
Anna's favorite song on our car rides was "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Art Garfunkel. Anna would say she could listen to it all day and all night. It played in my car after the funeral. " In the Garden", a hymn by Charles A Miles played softly at the funeral parlor before leaving for church. Loretta Lynn sings it beautifully. All of these " Godincidences" are a blessing to me- just as Anna was.
Caregivers receive much more than they can give sometimes.
I love you, Anna.
Love,
Peggy & Bo Atkinson
