If anyone needed proof that the good die young, you're it, Frank. You are sorely missed.

Rest easy my friend. We spent an amazing number of years together, planning and doing things, both trivial and important. But always stimulating and fun. We proved along with Marilyn and John that you can in some ways choose your family. I'll miss you, see you on the other side.

Sonny and I grew up together in Braeburn. Our families were great friends. It was so good to connect with him again in the last few years. I always enjoyed his visits back home. I will miss him and the tales of the old days. We went to a Steeler game and got our picture with Franco Harris. That was a highlight of the game.
Rest in Peace my friend, until we meet again. Love you, Sandy

Rest well, Franco. You were so resilient in bouncing back from so many obstacles during your last hospitalization. You certainly were a study in courage. I shall miss you, "my dear sweet friend." It was an honor to be one of your many best friends. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service in Pennsylvania. Condolences to all of his beloved family and friends.

"I'll remember you
When I've forgotten all the rest
You to me were true
You to me were the best
When there is no more
You cut to the core
Quicker than anyone I knew
When I'm all alone
In the great unknown
I'll remember you."

I always liked talking to Frank about our heritage and our Slovak link. Franks Great Grest Grandfather and Great Grand Mother were my Great Grand Father and Great Grandmother. We grew up together in the small mill town of Braeburn, PA. Rest in Peace " Sonny ".

Just a handful of remarkable individuals have travelled rather unexpectedly through my life via professional networks. Frank was one such individual. We met 20 years ago at a research park conference. His enthusiasm for his work, entrepreneurship, theater, internationalism, was contagious. Although we crossed paths only one other time at a conference, he was always ready with support, advice, or a friendly 'hello' via email. I never once thought that he'd not 'be there' no matter how many years or miles intervened. What a great contributor to humanity. Thanks for your friendship.
